Meet Sherman
If you want an interactive, fun, playful and affectionate young cat that still acts like a kitten, then Sherman is your man. He is into everything - people, other cats, he is even curious about our large dogs.
He would suit most situations including primary school aged children and older, he is quite happy to be carried around like a baby and just relaxes in your arms and purrs contentedly. A bit of a lap cat, he is usually up for a cuddle or three. He is a small cat with a short but very soft and plush coat that is very easy care.
He is obsessed with scrunched up paper and will come running the moment he hears you with it. He could very easily be trained to fetch as he already brings the paper back for you to throw again so he can jump and catch it.
He needs to go to a home that will be understanding about his initial fear of meeting new people - he is quite the scaredy cat at first and will bolt at the first sign of a stranger. He would be best in a home where someone is at home a lot - or at the least with a friendly feline friend for companionship. Available to adopt separately or with his mum Cherry who is also listed with DCH.
Sherman is available to a loving, indoor only home. He is located at Mount Annan.
Sherman was adopted on 24 September 2014 after 1.1 years in foster care
