Rahni's story
Hi Karen
I just wanted to email you to let you know that Rahni has settled in really well with our family. She is such a good girl!
I have attached a photo of her with my little one, Rhys. He says he loves Rahni so much he's going to marry her.
Rahni's fantastic with my kids and my kids' friends. Everyone who meets her loves her. She is very hesitant with men so I think both her and Max have been mistreated by a male somewhere along the way. My husband Steve is slowly winning her trust and she will quite happily go for a walk with him now or sit with him at night and watch tv but if she has a choice between Steve and I she will always come to me.
I take her for a walk off her lead in the bush behind our house every morning and throw the ball for her for ages and she loves it! She also enjoys a good long walk. She's met some of my friend's dogs and had a play. I'm going to take her to the off lead park near our house soon for a run around with some other dogs. She does seem ok without Max though. She howled on the second night we had her and cried while I was at work that day but since then she's been good as gold.
So Karen I can safely say we will be keeping Rahni. Thank you for letting us adopt her. She's a pleasure to have.
Kind regards
Carol
Rahni was adopted on 15/3/2010 after 2 weeks in foster care.
