Sponge Cake is a sweet, friendly girl who was found roaming around a local Bunnings carpark at 5 weeks old. She was so tiny and vulnerable, it was lucky that some kind citizens quickly spotted her and surrendered her to our care. Sponge Cake loves eating, playing and chatting away to you. She is a very happy, social and confident kitten.
Sponge Cake is looking for an indoor-only home where she will have lots of company. She will be ready for meet and greets early November, and will be rehomed once she is 1kg, approx mid to late November. Please ring or text her foster carer if you'd like more information, or to organise a meet and greet. Sponge Cake's adoption fee includes desexing, microchipping, and her 1st vaccination.
Sponge Cake was adopted on 30 November 2019 after 1 month in foster care

Nala and her 4 x siblings (Ned, Nigel, Nora & Noah), are DCH rescue kittens from Campbelltown Pound, where they were handed in without a mumcat.
These kittens should always be kept Indoors in their future homes, unless they are safely supervised outside.
These gorgeous kittens are very people friendly and confident, and just seem to crave love and attention. All 5 x kittens are healthy and playful and get on well with my other DCH foster kittens. All are drinking water and eating wet and dry kitten food, with good appetites.
Nala is a very pretty white, fluffy kitten who will probably need a weekly brush to stay beautiful. Nala has a very cute little miaow when she wants your attention for pats and cuddles, and it's hard to resist her cuteness! She snuggles in when picked up but is also very happy to play rough and tumble with her siblings.
The $200 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing. If you adopt a small kitten at 8-12 weeks, too young to be desexed, you just choose a DCH vet (from our list), and we forward approval to pay the cost of desexing. You just need to organise desexing before the kitten is 6 months old.
Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to come and meet Nala. You and your family are most welcome to organise a time to visit!
(Kittens must reach 1kg and be at least 8weeks old before adoption can be processed but you can place them "On Hold" with a deposit)
Nala (now Pancake) was adopted on 29 November 2019 after 2 weeks in foster care

Alina is such an amazing cat! She came into our care with, and reared, 6 beautiful kittens at the end of 2013, each being very quickly adopted. She, however, kept always on her own, never came inside and didnt want anything to do with her carers during the first 2 years she was here.
Then, all of a sudden, she became a different cat: she now sleeps inside on the bed every night, will sit on the lounge with you and watch TV, and is generally interested in whats going on.
She clearly decided she no longer had to behave like a mum, and could finally luxuriate in spoiling herself. We hope that after her years in care, she can find her a home of her very own.
She isn't very fussed with other cats as long as they don't come into her personal space bubble.
If you think you can offer this lovely girl a home please contact us!

Moonpie is an old soul in a kitten body; she is the big girl of the litter, and is a calm and relaxed kitten. Moonpie has been raised in foster care from a very young age, with her siblings Mooshu, Mr Meowsalot and Miss Fluffybut.
Moonpie‘s little personality is starting to develop, showing that she has a lovely calm but independent nature, she is not a needy in your face type of cat. Moonpie is more than happy to have a game and interact with humans, her cat teasers and toys, and when she is done she will find somewhere quiet to have a nap (usually in a different room in the house). Moonpie sleeps with her foster mum at night and enjoys a chin or belly rub, and while she tolerates being picked up and given a quick cuddle she isn’t fan of being held for a long duration.
Moonpie is happy to rampage with her siblings or the much larger foster cats in the home and is relaxed around the resident dogs.
Moonpie is fully litter trained and has been fostered alongside her 3 siblings, 2 dogs and multiple older cats, and is comfortable with them all.
Moonpie’s adoption includes desexing, microchipping and vaccinations while in care and she will be up to date with both worm and flea treatments when adopted.
Moonpie is available to adopt and you can meet her now at her foster home in Bligh Park.
Moonpie was adopted on 24 November 2019 after 2 months in foster care

If you want a kitten with character look no further than Sir Meowsalot. Sir Meowsalot likes to have a chat but isn’t too chatty, of his litter he is the kitten more attracted to spending time with humans while still enjoying the company of his siblings. If you are not giving Sir Meowsalot enough attention he may give you a little ‘love-nip’ and say ‘hey look at me’. If you enjoy a sleep-in, Sir Meowsalot may not be the kitten for you, but if you want an active kitten to make you laugh he is your man. There aren't as many photo's of Sir Meowsalot because he doesn't stand still for long, apart from the end of the day when he has worn himself out, but when he sees the camera he is up and at it again.
Sir Meowsalot has been raised in foster care from a very young age, with his siblings Mooshu, Moonpie and Miss Fluffybut.
Sir Meowsalot can play either alone or with his siblings and has on occasion the resident dogs. Sir Meowsalot is comfortable being cuddled and held, and enjoys a belly rub or chin scratch and sleeps on his foster mums bed of a night, sometimes even demanding to crawl under the covers.
Sir Meowsalot is fully litter trained and has been fostered alongside his 3 siblings, 2 dogs and multiple older cats, and is comfortable with them all.
Sir Meowsalot’s adoption includes desexing, microchipping and vaccinations while in care and he will be up to date with both worm and flea treatments when adopted.
Sir Meowsalot is available to meet now at PetStock Penrith.

Mooshu has been raised in foster care from a very young age, with his siblings Moonpie, Mr Meowsalot and Miss Fluffybut. Mooshu is the runt of the litter, but as they say, he is tiny but mighty.
Being the runt of the litter Mooshu has taken a little longer than his siblings to grow, but that hasn't stopped him during meal or play times. Mooshu is happy to rampage with his siblings or the much larger foster cats in the home and is even happy to take on the resident dog when he is in the mood. Mooshu will tolerate, cuddle, but loves a belly rub or chin scratch and sleeps on his foster mums pillow of a night. Too say Mooshu loves his food is an understatement, if you are in the kitchen, Mooshu is in the kitchen looking for his next meal, even if he has just finished eating.
Mooshu is fully litter trained and has been fostered alongside his 3 siblings, 2 dogs and multiple older cats, and is comfortable with them all.
Mooshu’s adoption includes desexing, microchipping and vaccinations while in care and he will be up to date with both worm and flea treatments when adopted.
Mooshu is available available to meet now at his foster home in Bligh Park, and will be ready for his new home the weekend of the 8th November.

Sammy was surrendered to DCH at the age of 4 just before Christmas last year. He is a very friendly and smoochy cat with his humans, but also loves dogs and is brilliant with his permanent and foster feline friends, too.
He has proven to be a very adaptable cat, and would no doubt love to find a family with other kitties or cat-friendly dogs to play with if possible. Sammy is also used to being an indoor/outdoor cat to date.
Sammy particularly loves to rub up against members of his foster carer family, but generally prefers to sit beside them rather than on them, which is a bonus in summer time! Like many cats, he’s not that keen on being picked up. But he hasn’t a mean bone in his body, so will always point that out very politely.
If you have room in your heart and home for Sammy, he would love to meet you at his Glenhaven foster home.
Sammy is already de-sexed and microchipped, and is up to date on all his vet requirements. His adoption fee is $125.
He looks forward to meeting you soon at his Glenhaven foster home.
Sammy was adopted on 11 November 2019 after 1.9 years in foster care
