Zoe

Zoe

DMH - female

Thank you to S.Barnett for sponsoring Zoe's desexing costs

Zoe is a beautiful kitten who would take cuddles and affection all day if you had the time. She loves sleeping on my son's bed and in the afternoon you'll find her on his window sill catching the afternoon sun.Zoe is a quiet little kitten and seems quite content to just take life very easy. She is very good eater and is litter trained.Because Zoe is a medium hair kitten her coat, which is like fairy floss, does require a small amount of grooming which she thoroughly enjoys.Zoe does not like dogs or other cats but adores humans, whether they are adult or child, so I believe she would be best suited to being the only household pet.If you're looking for an affectionate kitten who's absolutely no bother, then you need to meet with Zoe. She really would be a great addition to any home.

Zoe was adopted on 15 February 2011 after 4 months in foster care

Spartapuss

Spartapuss

DSH - male

Spartapuss is a lovely, lanky boy. He loves playing with his foster sister Cupcake, but will take time to chill out and fall asleep on his carers lap. Spartapuss purrs very loudly, and will follow you around to see what you are doing. He adapts to change and new foster cats quickly and is an all round 'no fuss' cat. Spartapuss is litter trained and learning to use his scratching post. He is ready for adoption now.

Lucy

Lucy

female

Lucy just wants to be indoors as she has been frightened away by a large black tom cat who has joined the family. She travelled a fair way to myhouse, crossing The Bells Line of Road (which is very busy with largetrucks etc). My husband and I fell in love with her as soon as she arrivedand would love to keep her, but unfortunately we already have two cats andthey would love to make her part of the family but she feels very threatenedby them and hisses and spits with claws drawn whenever either one tries toapproach her. As a consequence Mr Darcy and Elizabeth have stopped theirfrolicking play and gone into virtual hiding, always wary of where Lucy might be.Lucy is also stressed and constantly on the look out for where they are. Lucywould be perfectly suited to an indoor life style with someone to sit with andbe stroked by. She is very affectionate with humans (but not so with other cats). She loves to sit on your lap and purr whilst you pat her, which is very relaxing for all concerned.Lucy is also very playful and loves tossing around the assorted imitation mice that I haveplaced on the scratching poles. She tends to like to play by herself and is very entertaining to watch.

Sparkles, Meshuggah

Sparkles, Meshuggah

female

These little kittens were dumped in a box when only 3 weeks old. Covered in fleas and underweight, they have been in foster care ever since and are now enjoying the good life.Sparkles is the only female in the litter, the biggest kitten she is very friendly and purry and is quite the adventurer being first into everything. She is a lovely little girl and is a pretty white and tabby short hair kitten.

Blinkin is the littlest boy, a very handsome white and tabby short hair, he is a quiet, nice natured, unassuming little boy. Good with other cats and best suited to a less noisy household where he can truly blossom. He should make a loving and cuddly addition to the household

Meshuggah is a very pretty long hair black and white boy. He is playful and likes to explore but is the shyest of the 3 so a home willing to help him trust people is required. He is easy to handle but prefers the company of his litter mates to people at this stage.

Sparkles, Meshuggah was adopted on 07 February 2011 after 3 weeks in foster care

Farrah

Farrah

Siamese x? - female

Farrah was rescued from the pound as only a young kitten. She was dumped at the pound due to having a stomach bug, but it's turned out to be much worse than that. Farrah has had ongoing gastric problems including bleeding from her bottom and intermittent diarrohea, she has had a number of vet visits and tests but nothing up until recently had been conclusive.

She has recently been diagnosed with a variety of infections including Giardia and Corona Virus. Our vets believe she has some underlying problem which is causing her to suffer from so many ongoing illnesses and she will shortly have to undergo a range of tests and biopsies to determine exactly what is going on with her and have her treatment plan arranged. This could well be a problem she will have to have managed rather than cured, for the rest of her life. Farrah is a such a lovely natured, affectionate young girl and we are doing all we can to try and solve her ongoing problems.

Farrah's additional vet expenses will come to $1,800. *Thanks to C.Warry, M.Wood, J.Mitchell, L.Rhodes, G.Campbell, L.Schotanus, A.Nolan and C.Ong for their generous donations towards Farrah's vet costs*

Farrah was adopted on 06 February 2011 after 1 weeks in foster care
