Newton and Asimov (bonded brothers)

Newton and Asimov (bonded brothers)

Domestic Short Hair - male

Meet Newton & Asimov: The Dynamic Duo of Love and Adventure 🐾

Newton and Asimov, are bonded brothers ready to steal your heart.

Newton, is a fearless explorer with a curious attraction to water. He adores playtime but is equally devoted to being your snuggle buddy. With a heart full of affection, he's known for sweet kisses and independent antics. What makes him truly unique is his different coloured eyes, one blue and the other hazel.

Asimov, Newton’s brother and partner-in-crime is an intelligent and angelically beautiful kitten with an uncanny ability to observe and learn. He quickly picks up on patterns in your behaviour and confidently meets your gaze as he approaches you. This affectionate little guy revels in cuddles, often lying on your lap like a baby.

Both Newton and Asimov are remarkably comfortable with strangers and responded well to sharing their home with a dog that stayed for a while. Their strong bond is a testament to their playful and loving relationship.
They've received their 1st kitten vaccinations, are microchipped, desexed, and regularly receive flea and worm treatments.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to this inseparable pair, please reach out to their foster mum via call or text. Your life will be forever enriched by the love and companionship of Newton and Asimov. 🐾❤️

Poppy

Poppy

Domestic Short Hair - female

Poppy was found by a good Samaritan and handed into a vet clinic before finding her way into care with DCH.

She is a gentle, sweet girl and gets along well with the other resident kitties.

She loves a belly rub and does a cute forward roll at her carer's feet when she wants attention.

She's not too keen on being picked up but is happy to settle down on her carer's lap for a cuddle and to snuggle up to her carer at bedtime.

She also enjoys watching fish videos on YouTube.

She is still hesitant when meeting people for the first time but that doesn't tend to last very long and just means that a little patience will be needed when she moves to her new home.

Poppy has had to deal with a number of allergy issues but these have now settled down although her allergies do mean that she has to be fed particular foods.

Poppy would suit a quieter home where she can gets lots of attention when she needs it.

Poppy is vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and desexed and is looking for an indoors only home to keep her safe and secure.

Poppy has suffered from gum disease and wasn't eating due to mouth pain. She has had to have surgery to remove her teeth and fix the issue. Her vet fees have come to over $3,000. If you can assist by sponsoring some of these additional costs please click on the links below

Poppy was adopted on 10 August 2024 after 2.3 years in foster care

    Ash

    Ash

    Domestic short hair - female

Ash is an affectionate, lady-like, playful kitten who came into DCH care with her 3 siblings at only a few weeks of age. They were found orphaned and hungry on the street. Under DCH care, Ash has thrived and is now looking for her forever family.

When Ash and her siblings were only a few weeks old, they contracted suspected parvo virus (95% of kittens at less than 2 months of age with parvo virus succumb to the illness regardless of treatment). However, Ash beat the odds and survived, showing how strong and determined she is to live. She has no permanent side effects from her illness.

Ash loves to eat dry and wet kitten food. She is litter-trained on pellets, sand and crystals. She loves to climb cat trees and play with balls and plush toys. She is respectful of shoes and furniture. She is also quiet. She is good with other kittens, cats, children and adults. She is untested with puppies and dogs. Ash is better suited to a household with hoomans who love to cuddle as she does seek company. She is quick to purr when petted and caressed.

Ash is microchipped and desexed. She has received her first vaccination. She is ready from 21 June 2024 to join her forever family. If you are looking for an affectionate and playful kitten who loves to cuddle, Ash would love to meet you.

    Pixma

    Pixma

    Domestic Short Hair - female

Meet Pixma, affectionately known as Pixie, a nurturing and loving mother of three who is now ready to find her own forever home. This confident and petite lady has a heart as warm as her constant purrs, which can be heard from miles away as a testament to her contentment and affectionate nature.

Pixie is a cat who knows what she wants - pats and cuddles are non-negotiable for her, and she'll happily hop onto any available lap to get them. She particularly enjoys snuggling up on chests, though her choice of positioning might involve her bum being in your face! She also adores head bumps and is always on the lookout for surfaces where she can make her daily biscuits, showing off her contentment and comfort.

When she's not seeking affection, Pixie loves basking in sunbeams and exploring tall bookshelves, indulging in her playful side and seeking out new adventures. However, she's also looking forward to some well-deserved rest and relaxation once her kittens find their forever homes, knowing that she too deserves a loving family and a cozy spot to call her own.
