MEET CHEWY ♥️

Chewy and his 5 siblings came into DCH Care after they were found at a deceased estate with no mum in sight. The pups weren't in the best condition but are now thriving. Chewy is the cheeky one of the litter and is always into some kind of mischief and he is ready to meet you now.

We believe these pups to be border collie x.

MEET PETEY ♥️

Petey and his 5 siblings came into DCH Care after they were found at a deceased estate with no mum in sight. The pups weren't in the best condition but are now thriving. Petey has a fun, outgoing personality and is ready to meet you now.

Tilly is such a beautiful, happy outgoing girl..

Tilly loves playing soccer and fetch, is really well mannered mostly but can get a bit excited and use her weight to her advantage (bulldog barge as I call it). You can pat and take her food when she eats with no issues and she loves a good brush and snuggle. And cheese - oh does she love cheese!

Tilly also travels amazingly well, lays down and you don't hear a peep from her. She also loves going for walks and is great on a lead/ harness.

You're more than welcome to come and meet her if you like! She's such a sweetie and a boofhead all at the same time.

Tilly is located in Bligh Park.

Pumba is a very sweet older gent that has come into care with DCH after needing to find a new home. Pumba has been good with other dogs while in care both female and male and can go to a home with another dog or in a single pet household.

Pumba has a lovely personality and is a very easy going boy. At Pumba's health check it was noted that he has a mild heart murmur and a skin allergy which will need to be monitored. Pumba is ready for his new home now so if you have the perfect home for this gorgeous boy then please contact us!

Alvin’s favourite pastime is chewing shoes and shoelaces
He loves people and is extremely outgoing with everyone
His foster carer is teaching him to walk on a lead, sit and wait for his dinner and he already is toilet trained

Bella is a sweet, shy puppy who is very gentle
She loves to snuggle when she is picked up and would be suited to a calmer household
When she feels comfortable, her tail never stops wagging
Her favourite pastimes are playing with her sister, eating her dinner and playing with her toys

Rosie is a little pocket rocket and what she lacks in size she certainly makes up for in personality
She is very confident and loves everyone

MEET HENRY

Henry is a sweet middle aged man that is looking for his Forever Home. Henry is shy around people he doesn't know and will need an owner that is willing to give him time to settle in.

Henry would prefer a home with no children. He is in care with other dogs and has behaved well.

Buford is an affectionate, rambunctious puppy who loves to play with chew toys and balls with hoomans and other dogs. Buford was found hungry and alone at a national park. He has thrived under DCH care - eating and drinking well, gaining weight and strength.

Buford loves playing with chew toys, chasing balls and carrying plush toys back to his dog bed. He also loves to cuddle! He has learned to go to the toilet outside and will whimper when he needs to go out to do his business. When he is awake, he is energetic but can play with his toys on his own or with you. When he tires from all his activity, he sleeps hard, usually during afternoon naps and at night. He is quiet but will bark softly when he wants to be carried up and down steep stairs. He is currently too small to climb steep steps on his own but he is getting stronger and more confident as each day passes. He can climb small steps now when previously he was unable to.

Buford is still learning how to walk on-leash. Because he is still small, he may feel a little overwhelmed being outside and prefers to stick to hoomans rather than walk ahead. He plays well with other dogs. He is untested with cats. He plays well with children of all ages.

Buford is microchipped and up-to-date with his preventative flea and worm treatments. He will be ready for adoption from 4 November 2023 after he has been desexed and received his first vaccination.
