Rehomed Dogs

Bam is very quite and gentle for a young dog. He hardly barks or whines or even demands food. He loves people and cuddling up next to you but if you want him to stay away he is happy to spend time on his own too. He behaves very well on a leash and car. He occasionaly growls at unfamiliar dogs but gets on very well with the two dogs living with him at his carers house. Since he is so quiet he would benefit a home with older people or children. I don't think he needs regular exercise but he does enjoy walk and swimming! Bam sits on command, is housetrained and is 7kg.

Having missed crucial basic training and socialisation at a young age Fynne came into care with little idea of how to behave or interact with people and other dogs. Since then she has been receiving guidance and training from her carer in basic commands and can now sit and wait to be released for meals or for going through doors. She is currently working on drop from the sitting position. She now knows how to play fetch and can retrieve and drop the ball/toy for as long as you wish to throw for her.

Her interaction with people can be quite enthusiastic, having not quite finished the teenager stage, but she does respond so well to positive rewards. She does not jump on anyone in the family but still gets excited when a stranger comes into the yard. She listens when she is instructed not to jump up, but has not yet found this an intrinsic skill. Fynne hardly ever barks, if ever she does it's due to someone approaching the door late at night. She absolutely loves to chase the garden hose and would spend hours trying to catch the water spray if you let her, she's even attempted some swimming in our pool. Once or twice accidentally and a few times on purpose as she wants to be with us when we play. After some consistant training she now walks on lead very well for me and will sit at the pavement edge and wait for my signal to cross, however she has not yet been fully socialised with other dogs. She is improving with her interactions but still has some way to go before she will be relaxed in other dogs company. Her enthusiasm, excitement and sometimes fear of other dogs, (depending on their demeanor) needs to be managed and she needs direction and guidance in how to behave appropriately. Therefore previous experience of German Shepherds will be looked on favorably when rehoming Fynne. She is attending dog training school at the moment to improve her social interactions with other dogs and is progessing well.

She was underweight when she came into care but has blossomed nicely. Though she can be fussy over food she is always polite and sits well, ready to be fed. She needs a caring environment with a firm approach and strong leadership. She will take a little time to bond to you but once she does you will rewarded with a totally loyal companion.

Dalton is a lovely boy that is good with other dogs and loves people. He does require some training and would be suited to a family with older children as he could knock little children over. He would ideally love to be re-homed with another doggie friend to keep him company as he loves to play as he is still a pup. Dalton currently lives outside but he is toilet trained and very well behaved inside. He has a thickish coat that does require some grooming now and then. Dalton is a great dog that would make a great addition to the right family that was willing to put some time and effort into his training.

Jonesie is a very beautiful sweet natured dog. He loves his walks, playing fetch with tennis balls and cuddles. He knows your typical commands like sit, stay and drop. He is a very fast learner and has learnt new tricks already. Jonesie is a bit shy around other dogs and prefers to stay away from them but give him time and he will warm up and play. Jonesie is well socialised and very gentle with people esp children, but will stand his ground and bark at intruders.

Marshall and Madison, or MandM as we call them, are from a recent litter taken from the pound. They are Mastiff x but do not stand up against the typical size of a mastiff pup for their current age, so we doubt they will reach that size.

Marshall is an intelligent little guy, who is learning to sit, come to his name and is adapting well to the home environment. Marshall being the more active one is always running jumping and playing and is always the ring leader for their little expeditions in the backyard and after you can usually find him asleep under the couch. He gets on well with other dogs has learned his position of hierarchy with cats and loves to be around people.

Maddie is smaller than her brother and you could say doesn't even look like she is from the same litter. She is a beautiful chocolate brown in colour with a very short smooth and soft coat. She has an extremely cute disposition. She loves to cuddle, and just as clever as Marshall learning to sit and fit well into the family environment. Maddie being a sookie baby is such a sweetheart once you seen how cuddly and adorable she is you'll understand why her name is Maddie.

They're both such a joy to have around. And are also very curious of their surroundings and like to be included in all the action. Maddie and Marshall are located on the central coast.

Also known as little MuzzBuzz, Murray has a lovely temperament, affectionate and very sociable. Bursting with pure playfulness and puppy antics, Murray will eagerly get involved in any game going and enjoys the rough 'n' tumble of another playful doggy friend of similar size (or larger). He is eager to please and is in the early stages of basic obedience and house training and shows a high potential to excel in dog sports. Being only a young pup, Murray would love a home that will continue with his training and socialisation and provide him with regular exercise. Whippets' natural attachment to people makes them happiest when kept indoors and love nothing better than to snuggle into bed with you. Murray must be included as part of the family and allowed inside when his people are home.

Slater is a very loving little boy! Unfortunately his previous owner went to a nursing home and Slater couldn't go so he ended up at the pound. Since being in foster care he has proved to be a little dog with a HUGE personality, He is a very affectionate boy who loves to curl up on your lap at night or day.. Hes not fussy! Slater is around 30cm tall and weights 6 kg so he is a small dog. He would be suited to a home where he could have both the inside and outside live style, he would also love someone to throw a ball and take him for a walk once in a while. He gets on good with other dogs and cats. If you can provide him with a loving home, He would love to meet you! Slater lives in the Windsor area.

Molly is a calm, friendly, good natured girl. Totally housetrained and can be left inside alone with no problems. Molly knows basic obedience and is wonderful on lead. Molly would prefer to be an only dog so she can have all of your attention, She currently doesn't live with children but should be ok with older kids, young kids might get squashed as she tends not ot know her own size and likes to try to sit on your lap if you are sitting on the floor. Molly enjoys a tummy rub, doesn't jump up and she warms to new people very quickly. A great natured, mature girl, Molly should fit easily into a home used to large dogs (she's 42kg). Molly has had a knee reconstruction earlier in the year and as a result she most likely will have athritis in the surgery site in years to come.

Olive

Olive is a confident, happy and friendly pup. Olive has made a full recovery from Parvo but our vet's advice is to keep her with our foster carer until late November. This is to spread out the stress of vaccination, desexing and re-homing. You are welcome to meet her and place a holding deposit in the meantime.

Wally is the sweetest smoochiest cuddliest little man! Everybody adores him, he won't be easy to part with. As with all our foster babies we are looking for a special home for him who will love appreciate his adorable affectionate nature. Wally was surrendered to the pound with his mum and siblings through no fault of their own. His mother was in terrible condition but Wally and his siblings looked ok, poor mummy gave them everything she had. We hope to find Wally the kind of home that will allow him to be part of the family. He is great with children and other dogs. He just loves cuddles he likes to snuggle into your neck and cling onto you like a baby. When he's excited to see you he gives little grunty squeaky sounds. His mother was a largeish dog and while we don't know what kind of dog his father was it's probably safe to assume he's going to grow to be a big solid boy.

Pheobe is a friendly, gentle little girl. She is great around children and plays well other dogs. Pheobe is such a good girl with such sad little eyes. She always waits patiently for her turn to be cuddled and is quiet in general. We would love to find a home for Pheobe that will love and appreciate her sweet intelligent disposition and who will give her lots of cuddles (which she loves) and make her part of their family.
