Poppy aka Ellie

Poppy aka Ellie

Large Size Cross Breed - female

Ellie is a very affectionate and super smart pup, she walks well on a lead and is quick to learn. Ellie will grow to be a medium to large sized dog and will require a decent sized yard, plenty of walks and lots of cuddles. Ellie is both an indoor and outdoor dog

she's house trained and loves to snuggle up with you in the evenings. Ellie would suit a family with older children (5/6 years and up), or another dog/pup to play with

she loves to be the centre of attention! Ellie's loyal and loving nature has shown she will easily become 'part of the family'.

Poppy aka Ellie was adopted on 10 January 2008 after 9 months in foster care

Hendrix

Hendrix

Staffy Chocolate Brindle - male

What a gorgeous boy! Hendrix is a typical happy friendly Staffy. He is house trained and knows the main obedience commands. He well socialised with other dogs and just LOVES people. He will make someone a wonderful loyal pet.

Hendrix was adopted on 06 January 2008 after 3 weeks in foster care

Ivy

Ivy

Cattle x Kelpie - female

Ivy could almost be Edwin's twin. She is similar to him in her colouring except that she has beautiful brown cattle eyes and doesn't have the worry lines on her forehead that her big brother does. She is a pup that is happy to play alone, while also enjoys the company of humans and loves a cuddle after her dinner. She is also a talkative girl who will chat to you if she wants your attention.

Ivy was adopted on 06 January 2008 after 1 month in foster care

Buba

Buba

Doberman x - male

Buba is such a sweet natured and well behaved little man! He knows how to sit and has learnt not to jump up at people and wait for a pat when you first greet him. He is great with other dogs and loves nothing more than to play with his foster brothers. Buba loves his humans too and will bond very well to his new family. He would be great in training as he is very responsive and is already learning how to recall. He walks well on a lead and would be fine with slightly older children. He will probably grow into a medium to large sized dog. He would make a great addition to a family that already had a doggie friend for him to play with.

Buba was adopted on 04 January 2008 after 1 month in foster care

Yogi

Yogi

Red Cattle x - female

Yogi is a Red Cattle. He's playful and intelligent, loves to walk or run along side you. He loves other dogs and would be suited to a home with another doggy friend to play with or someone who is home alot or who can take him to work with them. He's such a devoted little boy who will train up quite easily as he naturally heels and is quickly learning sit and comes to a whistle. He likes his quiet time also and will happily lay down by your feet and try to catch flies. He's pretty well behaved for a puppy even indoors.

Yogi was adopted on 31 December 2007 after 2 weeks in foster care

Jedda

Jedda

Staffy x Cattle - female

In the time that this gorgeous girl has been in my care, I have fallen in love with her cuddles and her big brown eyes. But it is now time for Jedda to find a new loving family that will care for her until she is grey. She loves going for car rides and running around on her regular walks. She comes back when you call her, and is an obedient girl that hates making you cranky even though she isn't trained. If you think that you can provide a loving, trusting home to a gorgoues creature that will return your love tenfold....look no further.

Jedda was adopted on 29 December 2007 after 7 months in foster care

Kender

Kender

Kelpie x Doberman? - male

Kender is an active puppy typical of the breed. He's had a dreadful start being rescued from Wagga pound and at the moment is a little underweight, but he's filling out nicely since coming into care.

He will need stimulation, training and socialisation as is usual for puppies and to make the most of his intelligence. He is naturally inquisitive. Any puppy needs attention and love and he will give back twofold what ever you give. Good exercise or long daily walks, together with ongoing training will make him the best family pet you could hope for.

Kender was adopted on 23 December 2007 after 1 month in foster care
