Sammy is a happy dog who loves to sit at your feet and watch television, he travels well in the car but could use some training when it comes to walking on a lead. He gets along with other dogs just fine. He isnt bothered by cats at all. When he is excited he spins around in circles waiting for dinner or a cuddle. He is a really cute dog and would suit just about any family.

Zoltan

Zoltan

Whippet x Jack Russell - male

Zoltan is an absolute sweetheart. His top half looks like a jack russell terrier while his long legs are definitely a whippet's. He is very slender and only weighs about 5 kgs. He is great with other dogs and loves people. Zoltan loves being an inside dog, curling up on the lounge under a blanket is just his style. He also gets very excited about going for walks and loves to have a bit of a run. He is very well behaved and also housetrained. Zoltan is excellent in the car and very easy to walk on lead. He would make a great companion for another dog or would be fine as an only dog.

Zoltan was adopted on 29 April 2007 after 3 days in foster care

Happy

Happy

Terrier x - male

He is definitely a family dog because he enjoys cuddles from toddlers to adults. He will roll over for belly rubs and give you as many kisses as you can endure. He is friendly and a well-socialised dog. He is absolutely fine with cats, kittens and other dogs. He is housetrained and as his name suggests, he is a very Happy dog.

Happy was adopted on 29 April 2007 after 3 months in foster care

Monty

Monty

Mini Poodle - male

Monty is a placid little fellow that is bewildered by the changes in his life lately. He is a quick learner and can already walk well on a lead and knows sit, inside and outside. He is fine with cats and other dogs and also great with kids. He came into care with a matted coat and a lot of grass seeds embedded in his skin. He has had these removed and is recovering well but you can see the marks from these in his photo. As he is a Poodle he will need regular grooming and clipping. He is being cared for in the Shellharbour area.

Monty was adopted on 29 April 2007 after 7 months in foster care

Duke

Duke

Staffy x - male

Duke is a very happy boy that gets on well with other dogs and loves to play. He has basic obedience training eg, sits, walks well on a lead and is house trained. He needs a firm owner that can give Duke the continuing training and socialising that he needs. He is used to cats. He is being cared for in the Wollongong/Shellharbour area.

Duke was adopted on 29 April 2007 after 7 months in foster care

Ellie

Ellie

Corgi? x - female

Ellie is an adorable, happy and friendly girl who is good on lead and travels well in the car. An all over compact and calm girl, Ellie is happy to be picked up and will sit on your lap. She is currently enjoying living and playing with her foster brother (a cattle cross) who is four times her size. A quick learner, she has learned to sit and drop in less than a week and is doing well with toilet training. Ellie is a very likeable dog and we are sure anyone would fall in love with her as soon as they meet her.

Ellie was adopted on 18 April 2007 after 3 weeks in foster care

Thorpe

Thorpe

Rough Collie - male

Thorpe is the most loving affectionate boy you could ever find. He loves to sit and give a paw in your lap. He loves cuddles and wants nothing more than to be with his family. He walks well on lead, is house trained and therefore will suit being a inside dog. He has basic obedience training, loves attention and gives back any affection twofold. He absolutely adores children and other dogs, in fact he absolutely loves everyone except maybe cats, he barks at them. Nice easy going boy who to keep looking so handsome requires regular grooming of his double coat and he in turn will fit into most family situations where he is included as part of the family.

Thorpe was adopted on 16 April 2007 after 3 weeks in foster care

Millie

Millie

female

How gorgeous is this girl! She is friendly, great with cats, easily trained, gets on well with other dogs and great off-lead. We have no idea on what breeds have come together to create this gorgeous girl but can tell she is 10 kg and not expected to grow much more. She would love an active home where she had another dog for company or someone that was home most of the time. She is being cared for in the Wollongong/Shellharbour area.

Millie was adopted on 16 April 2007 after 1 month in foster care
