James

James

Great Dane x Labrador - male

James is a lovely young boy- still a playful puppy who loves his toys and his runs, he is showing that he has a beautifully affectionate and placid nature. He is very friendly with all people he meets, but he does give a good warning bark when strangers arrive. James is toilet trained, and loves being inside with his humans- he enjoys stretching out by your feet for a doze or just following you around everywhere (and bringing you tennis balls to throw...). James is excellent with children, and doesn't jump up. He gets very excited and pulls a bit when walking on his lead, but that's slowly improving. James sits on command and travels well in the car. He will probably be (medium to) large size when he's fully grown. He would be great as either an only dog (with lots of human attention!) or with a pooch companion as he is excellent with other dogs. He is currently living with a female labrador and they get along wonderfully.

Marc

Marc

Terrier x - male

Marc: Male White with black tail patch.

Mark learns fast, really fast, having mastered the sit and stay with 2 tries, he would probably excel at training given the chance, he has a spark about him that lights up the room. Full of fun he loves to explore, play ball and generally be around people. Update 25/9/06: Marc has settled down since his siblings were rehomed and is finding life relaxing. He enjoys a ball game following in mums shadow and wrestling to get the ball first. He is full of fun and life yet is happy to sleep most of the day away when I'm at work and is a quite boy who doesn't bark much at all.

Abby

Abby

Shih Tzu - female

Special Needs Dog

Abby is a very sweet and happy girl. She has a lovely coat that is liver and white in colour, is easy to care for and she is easy to groom and handle. She gets on well with other dogs and loves to play. She also gets along with the resident cats in her foster carer's home. She is house trained and walks well on a lead. She also loves people and is very friendly. Sadly though, we have just discovered that Abby has a Grade 3 heart murmur. Our vets advise us that this is on the more serious end of the scale and this unfortunately means that Abbey will is expected to have a much reduced life span. If you feel you can offer this special girl a loving, caring home then please contact us.

Tiska

Tiska

Large Size Sheltie - female

Tiska is 46.5cms tall to the top of her shoulders so she is a very large sheltie. She is a little shy when she first meets people but then she is very friendly. While she is great with older kids she is not at ease with the constant attention that small children give. She is good with other dogs and is an affectionate girl who really does not like too much attention as she prefers to come to you for cuddles. She loves to play and her favourite toy is a squeaky toy that she spends hours playing a tune on. She is house trained and sleeps inside and snuggles down when we all go to bed and does not move until we get up and she is put outside for her business. Tiska is just a sweet little girl.
