Collie Rough - female
Caycee will be 6 month old Collie Rough in July so still very much a pup but with a relaxed attitude to life. She is in care with Lander the beagle and they get on wonderfully. She loves people and will follow you to every room in the house just to check out what's up. Even the bathroom...lol She is great with other dogs having socialised well at doggie parks and is good on lead. For some reason she hesitates at flyscreen doors that open rather than slide but she's leaning that they don't bite!! If you feel you can offer her the home she deserves please call Judy on 63556382 or 0415671449. A property inspection is required before she is rehomed.
She is foster cared in Glenhaven NSW

Beagle - male
Sweet little Lander, such a cute puppy, very nicely natured and fairly placid, for a beagle. He's currently in care with a Collie Rough of 5 months and they are best buddies. This boy would suit a family who understands a beagles inquisitive nature. He's got basic sit down pat, can wait for his food and is learning not to jump. He loves his cuddles. Beagles do not do well if left all day with nothing to do. He'lll go looking for something if you leave him no alternative. Being a pup he will need stimulation during the day, lots of play and snuggle times in the evening with a good routine so he knows how best to please you. A secure back yard is a must and a doggie friend would be great. If you think you can offer the right environment for this boy then call me today He is being foster cared in Glenhaven Sydney and is NOT available for interstate adoption DCH Animal Adoptions reserve the right to carry out a yard inspection on a prospective home
Lander is in care at Glenhaven, Sydney NSW

Benji is just a shaggy haired baby boy who sees the world with excitement and is happy with the sheer joy of being alive. He came from a local pound and he didnt have a name so what else could I call him but Benji?!!. Benji loves to play and he loves to give love so he would be an ideal family dog. He has settled in well with my two larger dogs and seems to enjoy their company so a home with another dog or someone who is home to keep Benji company would be ideal. He loves playing tug of war with a floppy snake and is especially fond of playing 'zoomies' with my male dog.
He is an active happy boy who also loves to go for his daily walk. He does like to spend his evenings indoors and I have been teaching him to stay in his dog bed whilst we watch television. He has met my cats and whilst he is just overjoyed to see them, he can be corrected to leave them be. Benji is very fond of his food as all growing boys should be! He isnt a fussy eater eating a variety of food from dry biscuits to vegs and pasta with no complaints. His sad begging eyes often see him get slipped an extra treat too! Benji will need secure fencing preferably 5ft and access to shelter whilst in the yard. But his primary goal is to be with you and to love you as he is not a dog who can be relegated to the yard. He just really wants a family of his own who he can share his time and love with.
Benji was adopted on 24 June 2012 after 1 weeks in foster care

Sparky has come into care after his elderly owner entered an aged care home. Sparky is a happy, tail wagging little tadpole of a guy who would do anything for a Beef Goodo! He is a lovely quiet boy who doesnt bark except when he gets excited to see you when you return from a shopping trip hoping that you have some more good's in the bags. He is living with my bigger dog at the moment and they get along fine. He has also met my cats but pays them little attention. He is learning how to become housetrained as he was an outside dog prior to coming into care. I know Sparky would dearly love to be an inside dog, curled up on the couch soaking up the love! Sparky is also learning how much fun it is to go on daily walks. His previous owner became unable to walk him so Sparky is again growing accustomed to being on the end of a lead. Sparky has a lot of love to give yet comes in a small furry package of licks and cuddles.

Gregor came from Blacktown where they guessed his age as 7 but after a visit to the vets they assessed his age as more 4 which is much closer to being right. Gregor is such a smoochy boy who just loves children and will come looking for a cuddle at any time of the day or night. He gets on well with other dogs and is housetrained. He loves his food which he scoffs down but is very gentle when you hand him a treat and he really loves tennis balls which he likes to get to them 1st every time and he is so fast that he achieves this so if your have another dog that also loves their ball then Gregor will spoil the fun at this game. He is just a lovely active, quiet lad who needs to be very much a part of the family otherwise he will be so very unhappy and he is just too nice a boy for that to happen to.
He is located at Rydal (just past Lithgow) and a property inspection is required before he can be rehomed.
Gregor was adopted on 18 June 2012 after 3 weeks in foster care
Mastiff x pup - male
Comet is a very energetic pup who loves chasing me and the other dogs around the yard. He gets on very well with other dogs and being a pup can get a bit excited. Comet is good on a lead, he knows most of the basic commands such as sit, stay, fetch and he responds straight away when you call him so can be trusted in a free leash park. Comet is house trained and would prefer to sleep inside with his family. He is great with children but would watch him around toddlers as he can be very playful and may knock them over. Comet is one top little dog and being so playful would be best suited to a family with another dog for company and that are able to take him for nice long walk to the park each day.
Comet was adopted on 16 June 2012 after 1.4 years in foster care
Small x Breed - male
Bean is a lovely, active, funny, small (around 8kg) boy, very loyal and very smart. He loves company and is very friendly, good with children. He settles down nicely indoors and out, is actively interested in what's going on, likes to watch you and the world around him. He understands simple commands and is a very patient boy. Bean is playful, caring, enjoys his daily walks and lead free runs in fenced areas. Rides well in the car, he loves his food and is fully house trained. Bean gets on well with small less dominant dogs, however gets nervous around larger dogs. It will take Bean some time to settle initially, however he responds well to routine, treats, friendly plays and attention. We are still learning the road rules together. I feel Bean would suit a lively family or an individual who would have time for him, he really likes company. If your looking for a loving companion and a good friend to hang out with, Bean is as well.
He is in care at Padstow
Bean was adopted on 13 June 2012 after 8 months in foster care
Rotti x - male
Harvey is about 18 months old, and is a Rottweiler cross, we think crossed with a labrador, as he has a very labrador personality
affectionate, gentle and fixated on food! He's a big boy, but doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. He loves food and treats, he loves cuddles, he loves walks and playing with other dogs. We're been socialising him down at the dog park, and he has been having a great time making new friends! He's also met a few cats now, and seems a bit bemused by them, but mainly just wants to go up and say hello. He didn't show signs of being distressed by his time in the pound. I think he is just one of those personalities that takes everything in his stride. He settled in to living with us very quickly, and felt like he had been part of our family for ages after only a couple of days. I have no idea how or why he ended up in the pound. Someone has given him a great start to life, and shown him lots of love and affection. He walks perfectly on the lead and knows how to sit and stay. He doesn't beg at the table. He is house-trained. This is not a dog who has been mistreated or neglected in anyway. He is really friendly and loves to greet everyone he meets out on his walks
even if sometimes he doesn't realise how big he is!
Harvey was adopted on 27 May 2012 after 2 weeks in foster care
Beagle - female
Molly is a lovely, bright and intelligent Beagle born on the 6th March, 2011. As she is still very much a puppy, she has a tendency to chew, but with some time, TLC and training she should grow out of this. Molly enjoys her walks although she is not very used to being on a lead and she is just as happy snuggling up to you. This beautiful girl with her exotic eyes will enjoy being with a family with children and having a secure backyard. She has spent the first year of her life with another Beagle so she would love to have the company of another dog.
Molly was adopted on 01 May 2012 after 3 days in foster care
