Fifi is in the top 5 best rescues we have personally had in our home, she is looking for someone very special, she a sweet little girl who enjoys playing and chasing, curling up for a cuddle, she has a healthy appetite.

She is happy and healthy and is litter trained.

Fifi is very sweet, big hearted girl and would be best suited as an indoor cat.

Fifi is still very cute, full of energy, excitable but very smart. Fifi is looking for someone who will love her well into her twilight years so if you can offer Fifi a safe loving forever home please don't hesitate to call.

Fifi is micro-chipped, desexed, vaccinated, and wormed.

Ollie is a fantastic cat. He is friendly to everyone, & often greets people at the gate rubbing up against their legs and kneading his paws.

He gets along with all ages of cats and dogs & is very friendly with our large dogs.

He loves to get lots of attention from people.

Look at me, please look at me! Life isn't fair: I've done everything I can to learn what pleases my new human, but it turns out she was looking after me for only two months, and now she's off on holidays and I'll be in a cat enclosure with no lap to sit on!!! Does she not understand I AM A LAP CAT....

I've been in care less than 2 months, but I've already learnt that I can hurt humans if I use my claws or teeth , and I try hard to remember. If I forget, my foster mum only has to say 'Ow', and I do a lick or a gentle bite or paw instead.

I'm naturally affectionate, and my favourite thing is to sit on a lap or lie beside my human on the bed. I am good at purring, and like to say welcome with a quiet miaow. I do like friends who drop by, particularly if they play with me.

I didn't like the other cats around me in my previous home, and I think I rather enjoy a quiet environment. I'm probably not the best feline friend for young, boisterous children because there are bits of me, like my tummy and toes which I really don't like being touched.

A note from my current mum:
Kitty is a pretty calico girl. She readily appears and comes to you when invited with a 'pwpwpwpw' sound, and responds well to quiet commands to stop, such as no, tut, etc. She loves her food, but doesn't demand it. We don't know much about her previous home, but she is now a fully fledged indoor cat, and is very happy in my apartment.

All in all, it appears she will thrive and return affection in a loving and gentle environment without feline competition.

Miss Kitty is ready and waiting for her permanent home.

Simba has been surrendered by his owner into the Pound on the 21st September.

DCH has rescued him from the pound and he only spent a few hours at the shelter and is now looking for a new home.

Simba is very friendly and is a very quiet peaceful dog.
He logs the kids in my neighborhood pat and play with him.
Simba seems to be OK with other dogs and I have not had any issues with walking him at the park.
He is very friendly and loves a pat.
He will sit on command and seems to be toilet trained.

Simba is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated and has been tested for Heart Worm.

After Millie can into care we found that she has luxating patella in both of her back legsthat require surgery. One leg has been done and when she can bear weight on it the other back leg will be done. The cost of this vet work is $1,600 for so that she can live a normal life. Please help us with meeting the costs of giving this gorgeous little girl good legs to run on.

Millie is a Shihtzu x Jack Russell x Maltese.

Millie is a very sweet gentle little girl who loves going for a walking, is child friendly and gets along well with other small dogs. She is learning to sit, stay, come and her carer is working on her responding to her name when called. She love a good brush. Millie is toilet trained.

Darling Pixie was bottle raised in care after being found washed downhill after a big rain storm. Now an adult she's ready and waiting for her forever home. She loves human company but not cuddles so much. She loves to curl up on your lap whilst watching TV but only on her terms. She's quite independent & likes to wonder off and explore.

She's very playful & will play catch the string for hours. She also likes to carry around socks in her mouth! The cutest thing about Pixie is her tiny meow. It's like a squeak. She will always cry when we go to bed unless we call her up and let her know she's welcome to curl up on the bed with us!
She will always greet us with her feather duster like tail high in the air & swishing!

She gets on well with other cats but I've never seen her around dogs. I feel Pixie would suit a home with a garden rather than an apartment as she loves to explore.

Beau and Snowflake are brothers and a bonded pair and will be adopted out together. They were surrendered into DCH Foster care due to a change of circumstances and are now looking for a new home together.

They are very inquisitive, active and alert. The boys love each other’s company and sleep curled up together. Beau loves to play, especially fetch. Snowflake likes to play as well, but sometimes doesn't get a chance with Beau's enthusiasm. Beau would probably love a boy or girl to play with as he has as much energy as they do.

Snowflake is bigger with massive beautiful eyes and Beau is the lean athletic and sometimes cheeky one.

They don’t like to be picked up too much. However, Snowflake does like a cuddle and head butts especially while he helps you make the bed. Beau likes kisses on his head and will ask to be patted many times throughout the day. They both sing and dance when it is time for breakfast and dinner and will sit for treats.

As they are white in colour they are kept indoors only, but bird watching is a favourite pastime.

Beau and Snow were desexed in December 2015 and have received their vaccinations.
