Van

Van

domestic short hair - female

Foster Carer Required - Van and her siblings are looking for a new carer or permanent home after their carer was no longer able to look after them. If you can help please contact us asap

Van is adorable kitten and a real sweetie. Friendly and easy to handle. She purrs as soon as touch her and enjoys exploring, playing wit her litter mates and getting cuddles. .

She is friendly and good with other cats if they like her (she's not dominant though, so may be picked on by other more bossy cats). Playful, but a fairly calm cat, she is ready and waiting for her new home now.

Kenya

Kenya

DSH - male

My name is Kenya, however I prefer 'Kenny' or 'Ken'.

I don't have a sad story behind why I am a shy and timid man. That's just my personality, it takes me time to like and trust you.

I was born in care to a lovely mamma cat (my mum Calli who now lives in a forever home) and have resided with two very lovely cat foster carers from DCH. I came to my current foster care at 2 weeks of age with my mum Calli and sister Kokoda, they have both had forever homes for ages now.

I live with a heap of other cats my foster mum is a crazy foster cat lady. I can't keep up sometimes, but I'm always friendly once I know all the other fur fosters. I've even help foster mum out with the tiny orphan by bathing them and role modeling appropriate big cat behaviour.

I still enjoy playing with toys especially if you play with me. I like to cuddle on the lounge with my foster mum and don't mind being picked up, although, I am quite heavy. My foster mum says I could do losing a kilo or two. I LOVE food, human food included.

I don't mind small humans as long as they have a toy and play with me, but I won’t go out of my way to hang out with them. I have never been outside, foster mum would prefer you keep me safe indoors but that is completely up to you once we get to know each other better.

I feel it's has to be my time to meet my loving forever home and humans. When you come to meet me I won't come up and give you a cuddle or pay any attention to you, I will hide. That doesn't mean I don't want to be a part of your family, I'm just being cautious.

Foster mum says cause I'm a scaredy cat I can come for a trial at your house (crossing my paws it's my forever home), and introducing me to one room at a time will help me settle in quickly. Like I said before, I LOVE food so if you give me some treats, we will become friends in no time.

I have seen so many foster siblings come and go and never had anyone show any interest in me, all I want is a family to love me forever. I’m really looking forward to my transition to a forever home. You will not be disappointed once you know me!!!

Sarita is a beautiful white and tabby cat.
She is only young and is around a year old. She is a small loveable cat.
We think she would be best off in a home without other cats.

She was found in the Bringelly area as a stray and arrived into the pound 2/10. She has been released into Rescue on the 9th October to find her a new home.

Storm

Storm

DSH - male

Storm is naturally gentle (for example, retracting his claws automatically with humans), very well behaved, and loves to play in between naps. He particularly enjoys catching flies. He is fully house trained, and responds well to commands. I think he might need a new name....

He is healthy and happy, but ready for his forever home. He will enjoy and reward your consistency and attention with lots of purrs.

His one problem is that he runs and hides in or under the bed as soon as people come into his home.... He seems to be concerned by the door bell and level of activity, although he is unphased by traffic noise, fireworks, storms etc. outside. This trait means his initial meeting with you may take some time! However, he has been socialised with several people, and he does come out to play with them. During his carer's holiday, Storm had three different sitters who reported he charmed them after his initial reluctance - he enjoys strokes and encourages them with a vibrant purr.

Very comfortable with apartment living, but no doubt would also love a house as he likes to watch the bird life and activity from the balcony.

He is micro chipped, fully vaccinated, and de-sexed.

Storm was adopted on 15 February 2016 after 8 months in foster care
