Bella is a beautiful black kitten with black whiskers.
She has been surrendered into DCH care to find a loving forever home for her. She is available on her own or together with 1 or both of her sisters who are all very similar.
She was found at around 6-7 weeks old dumped by someone into a council clean-up rubbish pile and left in the rubbish to die. Fortunately she had an angel looking out for her and she found and rescued the kitten and took it into her home.
The kittens has been kept indoors since their rescue and has been socialised and played with. She is still a little shy and takes a little bit of time to get used to change. They are litter trained and eat well.
If you can offer this kitten or her siblings a home, please contact us.
Her vet work will be completed by the 8th of May which will include, Desexing, 1st F3 vaccination, Worming, Microchipping and Vet check.

GSD x Kelpie? - female
Lexie has gone out on trial.
This is Lexie who was surrendered to a pound after she had puppies and she is now in foster care. Lexie is a German Shepherd cross but she looks mostly German Shepherd but only half the size. Her teeth are very good and she has a glossy coat indicative of a young healthy dog. Her health and teeth are not the best part of Lexie as she has a sweet gentle nature and even “mothers†other dogs by licking their faces ears and bottoms.
Since Lexie has been in foster care she has blossomed into an attentive and affectionate dog who loves the company of people and dotes on her foster carer and will ultimately dote on her new owner. She makes friends quickly with people and other similarly playful dogs. Initially Lexie used to pull hard on her lead but now after guidance she trots quite happily in front of her handler sniffing at the occasional spot. Lexie’s initial overly active interest in chasing cats has now been modified as she is quite happy to be in the room with a cat and the cat itself is now confident that it will be safe in her company.
Lexie is not a jumper and she can be easily contained in a fully fenced yard with fences of a medium height. She is not a barker and when left alone she whines briefly then settles down to await the return of her owner. She is not an overly active dog and will suit a working family who can take her for short walks of about 40 minutes duration at least 3 or 4 times a week.
In the short time of her foster care Lexie will obediently return when called and will sit when asked to sit.
She is happiest being with her “humans†and all she asks for is care and attention and being taken for her walk. In the car she is quiet and usually sleeps but occasionally she loves to stick her nose out the window.
Lexie has a gentle nature and gets on very well with other dogs and is becoming tolerant to cats. She rarely barks even when left alone in the house and yard - for this reason she should suit a working family. Lexie is proving placid and friendly with children.
Typical of her breed, Lexie is a very good watchdog and will bark if a stranger attempts to enter the house or yard.
Lexie was adopted on 06 May 2015 after 1 month in foster care

Mr Wilton has grown into a fine young teenager, the one you would love to have, without the teenage attitude.... Wilton loves everyone, especially his big dog sister and dog brother.
This fine young man has been helping younger new foster kittens learn how to play.
He loves to cuddle and will always find the warmest spot on your lap or bed to snuggle.
This beautiful young man is the baby of the litter. Wilton is the most wonderful, cuddly, sweet little lad I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is always the first to scamper up for a cuddle, and loves to use your feet as his resting spot. Being the littlest of 5, this hasn't stopped him from going on big adventures, and being the first to try anything.
Wilton is a very special little boy, and he would love to share his cuddly, sweet self with your family.
Wilton is now approx. 5mths old and is looking for a loving happy family to share his life with.
Wilton was adopted on 03 May 2015 after 5 months in foster care

Domestic Shorthair - male
Lancelot is a funny little thing, he comes into my bed most mornings & gives me the biggest cuddles & purrs & so smoochie & wants to get under the covers. He loves to sit on my lap for pats & cuddles while I read or watch television but he does not like to be picked up & handled when he doesnt want to be.
He loves my older cat as you can see from the photo & lives with a Malamute x Staffy dog. Lancelot is quite an independant cat & is very easy to live with I probably would not recommend he go to a home with children mainly because of his not liking to be picked up.
Lancelot has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinations are up to date until November 2015, has been wormed regularly & same with flea treatments he has never had any medical problems whilst he has been in care.
If you would like to meet Lancelot he is living at Banksia so call & we can arrange a time for you to meet him.
Lancelot was adopted on 29 April 2015 after 4 months in foster care
