Figaro

Figaro

DSH - male

Figaro is one of the two boys from a litter of kittens who came into care, abandoned, with their mother Cleo. He is the smallest of the three but also the most adventurous and cheeky! He'll be ready to go to his new home when 8 weeks old.

Figaro was adopted on 28 December 2013 after 1 month in foster care

Erica

Erica

DSH - female

Erica is a friendly girl who has been a fantastic mum to her four kittens. She even adopted another orphaned kitten and raised her as her own.

Now that her kittens are grown Erica is looking for that special family to call her own. Erica is friendly and likes to be patted and loves being given little food treats. She prefers female company over the male variety and especially likes little girls to look after her. Erica enjoys being brushed and scratched under the chin and will curl up next to you on the couch afterwards. Erica loves to hang around the house, but will also head outside to lie in the sun. She's very intelligent, and has learnt to open our back screen door with her paw.

She is available for her new home now.

Erica was adopted on 24 December 2013 after 1 year in foster care

Layla

Layla

Rhodesian Ridgeback x Bullmast - female

Layla's personality is so humorous, she will talk to you when you are about to feed her, when she wants something or when you tell her no. She just loves and adores the company of people. She will greet you with much excitement initially, this includes trying to give you a big kiss on the face, but she is learning that is not ok although once she gets her kiss she is happy to just be next to you. She is fully house trained.
I have had many people over in 'her backyard' adults and kids alike all find her to be a very well behaved and affectionate dog.
She will even sit around patiently unperturbed by the smell of steak on the BBQ. Does not jump up to the table when you eat outside, nor does she hassle or beg you to share.
She knows when enough is enough, she will listen when it's time to just lay next to your feet. A highly energetic dog, only in bursts, Lazy in others!
She needs a walk every day or two or she just looks so sad. When not walking she is happy to just lounge about the back yard and get a pat from you.
She will chew on her toys or odd bits left in the yard, but never anything of value. She has made a dash with my thongs left at the back door so I'd say shoes are considered 'her toys'. Does not dig or bother my garden.
Out for walks she likes to go off lead when at the park, I always have her on lead walking around the street. She never goes too far that she can't see you. She always wants to know you're nearby.
Even at the dog park where she can run free with other dogs, she will play with them for a while but check back with me often.
An absolute delight to have. Not suitable to little children however, only because of her size and need to be close to people, she could bowl them over unintentionally.

Layla was adopted on 22 December 2013 after 1 month in foster care

Puss

Puss

DSH - female

Puss is a factory cat in need of a new home. She is friendly, can be picked up and she comes and sits on my office chair behind me during the day however she takes off when children come into the showroom I guess the noise and quick movements. I have noticed she seems to be happier making friends with adults.

Puss has been at the same place for 5 years so may take a little while to settle into a new home, but you will be rewarded with a very happy and grateful girl in the end.

Puss is a nice girl who's future is uncertain as the factory is closing. If you can help in anyway to give Puss a second chance please contact me asap.

Bo

Bo

Domestic Short Hair - male

Looking for cuddles then look no more. Bo may not be the cutest kid on the block but he sure makes up for it with his charm and personality. He is one happy, cuddly and smoochy boy who will climb onto your lap for a snuggle then bury his head so he can be as close as possible. He loves people and comes for cuddles all the time. Sometimes if he really likes you, he will give you gentle love bites so you don't forget to pat him again. Bo would love to meet his forever family as he has been in care for quite a while now.

Bo was adopted on 10 December 2013 after 3 weeks in foster care
