Peeps

Peeps

DMH - female

Peeps is a gorgeous little kitten who is playful, adventurous and extremely affectionate. She loves playing with the other kittens here especially if it involves running after them at break neck speed. Peeps also enjoys spending her time trying to catch flies, jumping on empty plastic bags and hiding in my pantry. When she's had enough of playing or needs a cuddle though, Peeps won't think twice about climbing into your lap and falling asleep purring quietly. Peeps is a good eater and is completely litter trained. She gets along extremely well with the older cats here and my three dogs don't bother her at all. If you're looking for a kitten with personality plus then look no further than Peeps. Peeps is not available for adoption until the 6th of January but if you would like to meet with her beforehand, please do not hesitate in contacting me.

Minkie

Minkie

male

Minkie is a very people oriented kitten. He purrs a lot when cuddled. He was found in a dump bin with his siblings where his feral mum had moved them to as she thought it was safe to leave them there. He was 3 weeks of age when he was found and he was born on the 8.10.2011. We know his exact birth date as a kind lady was with his mother as she was giving birth

he was born in an old abandoned car. Due to his age when found he had to be bottle fed for a few weeks. He will often be found around your feet, and if you happen to be wearing track pants, he may try to climb up them to get a cuddle from you. Minkie gets along well with kittens and cats of all ages as well as our large dog.

Minkie was adopted on 14 January 2012 after 4 weeks in foster care

Misty

Misty

female

Misty sweet and friendly girl who is a 'diluted tortie' according to the vet. She is quite chatty when you first come home from work and when you get up in the morning. She is the happiest sleeping at the end of your bed at night and loves to be scratched and brushed. If I am home during the day time, I let her play on my closed in balcony amongst the pot plants, which she absolutely loves. She makes up little games to play by herself and can keep herself entertained for hours. Misty isn't that fond of being picked up or sat on the lap but she will be very still and obedient for a short cuddle. She is very gentle and does not use her claws when playing. Misty enjoys the company of other cats, but prefers to be the boss of the brood! She is a little shy when new people come into the house, it takes her a little while to warm up. Going to a new home will take her at least one week to settle in, but once she knows she can trust you, she is a very loving pet and an excellent companion. She sheds little fur and keeps herself meticulously clean. What a treasure!

Misty was adopted on 14 January 2012 after 10 months in foster care

Milly

Milly

Terrier x - female

Poor little Milly has just been rescued from the pound and the vets think she's had a litter within the last month. The Vet also found a small tumour on the mammary gland which she believes is benign. This will be removed during desexing. Milly will also need to have her dewclaws removed because they've curled and grown into her leg. This will also be done during desexing.

Besides this, every top tooth after Milly's canine teeth are going to have to be removed. They're rotten beyond belief and our vets have avised that this extensive dental work is going to have to be a separate operation from the desexing because of the amount of anaesthetic involved.

Milly's additional vet expenses have come to $831.

Thankyou to Beatrix, Kayla, Marnie, Sully, Sam, Pippa, Billy, Adrian, Pauline, Neroli, Sandra and Amanda for their generous donations towards Milly's vet fees.

Milly

Milly

Terrier x - female

Milly is a very easy going and friendly dog who loves human company no matter what their age. She loves sitting next to you having her tummy scratched or just hanging around the house keeping you company. Milly may be 10 years young but she loves her walks and is quite spritely. Milly gets along with the other dogs I have here but can be rather aggressive in her barking towards other dogs that she doesn't know, especially when out walking. Milly is a good eater and is house trained. She isn't fussed at all by the kittens and cats she shares with, usually ignoring them altogether. If you're able to offer this sweet little girl a loving and quiet home please do not hesitate to contact me.
