Poor Tiggy came down with a terrible case of cat flu that both he and his mother, Mumma Bear, got. He was frothing at the mouth and had to be rushed to the vets. He was very ill and on a drip for 7 days at the vets but he pulled through and is now doing wonderfully.
Tiggy and Mumma Bear's additional vet expenses have come to $1114.
Thank you to Jan, Irena, Lainie, Jo, Julie, Maureen, Sherita, Anne and a special thanks to Peter, for all their very generous donations towards the care of these cats. Their vet bills have now been fully covered.

When Sugar was surrendered into care she was absolutely terrified and stayed hidden from me for several days. Time though has seen Sugar adjust to her new surroundings and she is now happy to mix with myself and my family. She's still apprehensive about my dogs and the other cats here but no longer runs and hides when they're about. With humans, Sugar is incredibly affectionate. She loves being scratched behind the ears or at the base of her tail and you'll receive loud purrs as a thank you. Sugar is a good eater and is litter trained. She has shown no interest in going outside preferring the warmth of my sunroom. I believe Sugar would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a quiet, loving and gentle cat who is no bother whatsoever.

Sphinx is an absolutely gorgeous cat with a beautifully soft coat and sparkling green eyes. (The attached photo just does not do him justice.) Sphinx loves affection whether it's a scratch behind the ears or a snuggle in your lap but doesn't like to be picked up too much. Sphinx is a good eater and is litter trained. If you're looking for a quiet and affectionate cat, then you need to come and meet with Sphinx.

Master was born in foster care and has been here ever since. He is now 15 months old and still waiting paitently for a home. Master is a friendly boy that likes to spend his days outside in the sun laying around with the other animals. Master is dog and cat friendly and gets along well with others, so much so that he needs a home with another dog or cat to keep him compamy. Master comes in doors of a night and likes to sit on your lap and watch tv with you. This boy has alot of love to give and after 15 months in foster care deserves his own home.

Toby is one of the friendliest, most easy going dogs I have ever had the pleasure of fostering. He loves humans no matter what their age but gets on especially well with children. Toby loves going for walks and walks well on a lead. He is social when meeting other dogs and has never shown any aggression whatsoever. In fact, Toby very rarely barks unless it's an alert bark. Toby gets on with the other dogs I have here as well as the cats, as long as they don't run. Once they take off, it's time for a game of chasings. Toby is a good eater and is house trained. I believe Toby would be best suited to a family as he loves the activity and energy of children as well as the company of adults.

Edward may look like a scruffer, but he is an absolute sweetheart with an easy going and relaxed nature. He loves being with people whether young or old
just don't expect him to catch a ball, or run around or pretty much do anything that requires a lot of energy. :) Edward loves affection though and will cuddle up to you every chance he gets. He also loves a belly scratch and will gently roll over to get your attention. Edward is a great eater, doesn't bark and is currently both an inside and outside dog. He is no problem when it comes to washing or grooming and has a beautifully soft coat. If you're looking for a low maintenance dog who just loves being with you and hanging around the house, then you need to meet with Edward.
