Indian

Indian

DSH - male

Indian loves other cats and company from people. When he is not busy playing he will come over and sit with you for a pat. He is a really handsome kitten, his grey markings on his very shiny black coat just become more striking as he gets older. He gets on fine with cat friendly dogs. I think he will fit into most households however i thinkhe needs to go to a home with another cat for company. Whoever adopts this little man will not be disappointed.

Indian was adopted on 19 March 2011 after 3 months in foster care

Chanel

Chanel

King Charles Cavalier - female

Chanel is an absolute delight with an amazingly beautiful nature. She loves everyone and everything especially people. As soon as she meets you she's all wags and smiles. Unfortunately for Chanel her previous owner was unable to afford her any longer and surrendered her into DCH care. That hasn't stopped her though from being one of the friendliest and most loving dogs that I have ever met. Chanel adores attention and loves pats and scratches, especially on her tummy. Going for walks is another thing that Chanel loves doing but she will need some correction on the lead as she tends to pull from the excitement. Chanel is desexed and up to date with all of her vaccinations. She is house trained and knows simple commands such as sit and stay.Because of her coat, Chanel will require on-going grooming to keep her looking and feeling fabulous. Chanel would be best suited to a household who will provide her with all the love, affection and stability that she so rightly deserves.

Lola

Lola

British Bulldog - female

Lola was rescued from the local pound just 3 days after being there. She was in such bad condition thatwe had to take her under duty of care. Poor lola looked like she had lived in a kennel all her life andwas so very happy to have grass under her feet i actually thought she had never been on grass before wheni saw her reaction. Lola had a huge sore on her hind leg that was filled with gunk and blood. She has a skincondition that she is on anti bioctics for and it's clearing up nicely. Lola has been used as a breeding dog andwho knows how many puppies this poor girl has had.She is a beautiful dog that is great with other dogs bigger and smaller than her. She is friendly and loving and is great with kids aswell. I am looking for a really special home for lola that willlove her for the rest of her life and show her what a great home

Not avaliable for interstate adoption. She will be avaliable for adoption on the 18th of March.

Lola was rescued from the local pound just 3 days after being there. She was in such bad condition that we had to take her under duty of care. Poor lola looked like she had lived in a kennel all her life and was so very happy to have grass under her feet. Lola has been used as a puppy machine and she is classic example of how sad the plight of puppy farm dogs can be. Badly bred, she has some strange anatomical features, such as her teeth growing out of the top of her mouth (see picture above), toes that are very splayed (spread apart) and a tail so tightly curled and with years sitting on concrete it has stuck to her back. Lola also can't do much exercise or her tongue goes blue due to her severely restricted airways. Lola had a huge sore on her hind leg that was filled with gunk and blood, this has now been cleaned out but ontop of this she has a skin condition that she is on anti-bioctics for and is thankfully clearing up nicely.

Despite all her years of neglect Lola is a delightfully natured girl, who is great with kids and other dogs and is a just a beautiful little girl who deserves a chance at a much nicer future.
