Snuffles

Snuffles

DSH - female

Snuffles came into care at around 10 days old from the local animal shelter with her two brothers, Domino and Sealy.

Snuffles is the tiny girl of her family, and at almost 16 weeks old she has just hit the 1 kg mark (the target weight of a kitten half her age). While she might be tiny Snuffles is mighty and has fought valiantly to survive.
Snuffles loves people and loves attention, and the more you pat and lover on her the more she demands, loves being picked up and cuddled, and plays well with other kittens and cats and doesn't mind cohabitating with the resident dogs and bunny.

While Snuffles love her foster mum and foster siblings, she has been raised in a single human household so may require sometime to become conformable with strangers and children, however when she had a sleepover with her foster-grandparents she demanded love almost immediately.

Snuffles got her name as she has fought a runny nose her whole life, and may require continued medical support – however this hasn’t stopped her appetite, her playfulness or her sassy attitude.

While Snuffles has had access to an external cat run, for her own safety Snuffles has been raised as internal cat and would be looking for a forever home that offers the same security.

Snuffles has been desexed, mircochipped and had her first kitten vaccinations – her new family will be responsible for completing her kitten vaccinations. Snuffles is also litter trained and will be up to date with her parasite protection.

Snuffles is ready to adopt now and a meet and greet can be arranged at her foster home located in Bligh Park.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

While Sealy love his foster mum and foster siblings, he has been raised in a single human household so may require sometime to become conformable with strangers and children, but once comfortable he will be your loving companion for life.

Oliver Brown (or OB, or Mr Brown)

Oliver Brown (or OB, or Mr Brown)

domestic short hair - male

Oliver Brown came into care as a stray. He was living in the bushes near a shopping center, competing for food amongst other stray cats and ibis's. He stood out due to his highly friendly nature and would approach and beg for food while the others would run and hide. Woefully thin when he first came into care, he has since started to put some weight on and his coat is starting to become shiny and fuller.

He has beautiful green eyes with an usual swirly pattern to his strips, loves warming himself in front of the fire or in the sunlight, loves to sit on your lap for pats and sleep on your bed at night.

He's an extremely affectionate male. He's been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and had his health check. He's fully litter trained and not fussy with his food.

He is at the moment still very food focused and does run around your feet when he notices you head towards a food source such as the fridge or kitchen.

He gets along with small and medium dogs, loves his cat scratch post and is very food oriented.

He's currently an indoor cat.

If you are looking for a very friendly, easy going pet, he's your man!

Oliver Brown (or OB, or Mr Brown) was adopted on 12 March 2023 after 9 months in foster care
