Cooper

Cooper

DSH - male

Cooper was found on the side of the road with his sibling Simba. Cooper is a friendly boythat gets along with children other cats and has had experince meeting dogs. Cooper would fit into most households.

These two little brothers were struck down with a gastro bug and had to be at the vets on a drip for over a week. Kittens so young and small can be very susceptible to these types of illness and they were very lucky to respond to the anti-biotics given and to pull through. Now a few weeks on they are putting on weight and playing at their foster carers home as if they'd never been ill.

If you can help us sponsor Simba and Cooper's vet bills which have so far come to $312 please call Megan on 9627 2767 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click below.

Thank you to Jan for her generous donation in sponsoring Simba and Cooper. Their vet fees have now been fully covered.

Cooper was adopted on 24 October 2010 after 1 year in foster care

Toby

Toby

Shih Tzu - male

Toby is the most placid dog you could find. Very quiet and well-behaved, he does enjoy his walks though. Toby has been used to being with other dogs so would enjoy another companion. Toby is an inside dog and is house trained. He would suit any household and is fine with kids. Even though he is young he is not over active so doesn't need a great deal of exercise. He does have a coat that would require some grooming to keep him beautiful.

Toby is being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Buddy

Buddy

Staffy x - male

Buddy has a wonderful nature and absolutely adores people, he is well behaved and responds to basic commands. He is good on the leash although can be a little bit strong for the first few minutes of a walk but settles quickly. He LOVES chasing the ball at the park and will even bring it back to you, he also appears to interact well with other dogs when out. Buddy can be a little anxious if left by himself for long periods so would be best suited to a home where he is allowed inside at night and is not alone all day.

April

April

silky terrier x maltese - female

Poor little April had to be left behind when her owner relocated back to England. She has been with him for all of her 8 years so is looking for a similar home situation. April has lived with another dog previously but would be fine on her own. She has to be an inside dog and looks as if she has spent most of her life living on the couch, the real couch potato. We are trying to get her out on some small walks as she does need to lose weight also but certainly will not require much exercise. April would like a quiet home where she can become attached to her new owner and become their companion. We are asking for a small donation only as she has already been desexed. April was born on Anzac Day, hence her name. She will be getting a nice grooming and hopefully will turn out a pretty little girl. She is being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Nelson

Nelson

male

Nelson is a very special little guy. He loves going out into the garden to either run around with the other kittens or find a nice warm spot and have a nap in the sun. He is very good with the other cats that live with me and has earned the nickname of the little gentleman because he allows the others to eat before he tucks in. Nelson is very social and enjoys his cuddles and pats but doesn't like to be over-handled. He is fine with cats, children and tolerates my dog quite well.Nelson enjoys his food, especially fresh chicken and is litter trained.I believe he would be best suited with a family and enjoys time both indoors and out.

Nelson was adopted on 18 October 2010 after 4 months in foster care
