Boxer x - female

Gypsy is an intelligent active dog who is good with children and other large dogs. She learns quickly, is very playful and is a loving, loyal companion. She has a bright bubbly personality and is always ready for a game with both her people and K9 companions. She is still learning manners as she will occasionaly jump up for a cuddle. Gypsy is currently living with 4 children and another large dog where she is proving to be quite child friendly, but may be too active for some young children. Gypsy is a delightful dog who will make a wonderful companion to an active couple or family.

Amber

Amber

DSH - female

Amber and her sister Candy were found in a box which was being kicked around a shopping centre car park, she sustained a bad injury to her left eye which was healing well until sadly she contacted cat flu, since then the eye has deteriorated badly and now has to be removed, as she has had no sight in the eye for a few weeks she will not be affected by losing her eye. Understandably, after her early mistreatment, Amber is a little bit nervous when she first meets humans but soon settles down when she realises that she is safe

Daisy

Daisy

Bullmastiff x Ridgeback (Large - female

Daisy is a typical delightful puppy. She has quite a docile nature and has been well socialised with dogs of all shapes and sizes so has very nice manners. Daisy will grow to be a very large dog (50-60kg) and would suit an owner experienced with larger breeds. She has had basic training (SIT, COME, HEEL, STAY) using standard obedience school commands and hand signals. She is smart and has learnt very quickly.

Daisy was adopted on 06 December 2009 after 2 weeks in foster care

Dolphin

Dolphin

DSH - female

Dolphin is a stunningly beautiful girl with a playful personality. She was sadly found at a work site with her sister who has now been adopted

poor Dolphin is still waiting for a home to call her own! Dolphin loves to play with toys and her feline friends. She is litter trained and enjoys using her scratching post. Dolphin has a beautiful coat with little black spots on her tummy and is very easy to handle. She adapts quickly to a new environment and is very inquisitive. Dolphin likes to be patted but isn't really a lap cat, however this may change in time. Dolphin gets along well with other cats, but would also be happy on her own as long as her new owner liked to play too!

Dolphin was adopted on 06 December 2009 after 1 month in foster care

Squeak

Squeak

DSH - male

Squeak is a beautiful boy who has learned to live a happy life with two unfortunate problems. First of all his tail was broken and crushed earlier in life and healed badly. He is in no pain and it doesn't bother him at all. Secondly, he sneezes a lot which could have been the result of a severe bout of cat flu as a kitten. Squeak is currently being treated for the sneezing, however the vet is unsure if it will ever go away

its almost like he has permanent heyfever! Apart from these two issues he is a normal happy boy who just loves attention. Squeak loves nothing more than playing with, and grooming his feline friends. He would like to be adopted into a household with another cat for company as he would get lonely if he was an 'only' cat. Squeak loves to use his scratching post and is 100% litter trained. He love playing with toys and will also curl up on the lounge next to you for an afternoon nap. If you're looking for a cat who isn't 'hung up' on his issues, loves other cats and is just happy to have a place to call home, Squeak is the one for you!

Squeak was adopted on 06 December 2009 after 8 months in foster care

Duchess and Mini Marie

DMH - female

extremely affectinalte without being in your face and very clean, They seem very sensible with dogs. These girls are available seperately and will fit easily into most households.

Mini Marie was rescued from the pound and sadly like many kittens arriving at the pound unvaccinated and so tiny she was an easy target to get ringworm. She and one of her fellow pound rescues came down with ringworm and have had to be on medication for the next 6 weeks. Along with the tests and medications her vet bills have now reached $342.

If you can help sponsor some of the additional vet costs incurred for Mini Marie please call Judy on 9674 4824 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click below. Thank you to Roland for his generous donation towards these kitten's vet care. Their fees have now been fully covered.

Yeti,Mowgli

Yeti,Mowgli

male

Yeti: My name is Yeti and I am the quiet and most loving one in my family. There is nothing I like more than a bosom for a pillow and if we are in the same room, I see no reason why I should not be sitting on your lap or being held tight. I like everyone I meet (as long as they pick me up and make a fuss of me) and love to play quietly with my family, and although I do sometimes play by myself, I really think a cat companion would make me happiest of all. I am white, so have a pink nose/ears etc that would need daily sunscreen or I would need to be kept indoors.

Mowgli: My name is Mowgli and I am another cuddler. I hang around a lot with Yeti, and if he is getting some loving, then I will definitely want some too. I also love everyone, and any lap is fair game. I like to play both with my brothers and sisters and by myself but a cat companion would probably make my day. I am really beautiful (everyone tells me so) and am gentle and quiet, but will let you know if I want some attention by staring up at you and mewing quietly. If this doesn't work I may have to climb up your leg.

Available to go to their new homes after 2/12/09

Yeti,Mowgli was adopted on 04 December 2009 after 2 weeks in foster care
