Jimmy is very fun character cat. When he got in our care he was a scrawny little thing with ringworms. He got over all obstacles and has become a model cat (he is so photogenic) and is an alfa male. Loves cuddles and is very friendly.

Bubbles came into DCH care after she was surrendered by her previous owner to a Sydney animal care facility. She was surrendered due to not getting along with other dogs in the household however she has not displayed any of those behaviours whilst in care
She is energetic, lively and extremely friendly and is very quick at giving you lots of kisses. She loves going for walks and exploring
Bubbles would make a great addition to any family that were wanting an energetic companion however due to her energy levels she would be best suited to kids over the age of 5
Bubbles is also only suited to a house with a fully fenced backyard and would not be suitable to a unit or apartment
Bubbles comes desexed, vaccinated and heart worm tested
Bubbles was adopted on 26 September 2022 after 3 weeks in foster care

Little Frankie was surrendered to a council animal shelter.
We don't know any details about his background.
Little Frankie is a very friendly and happy cat. He loves pats and will play with toys on a string. He is very quick to warm up to a new person and will give good pats and rubs.
Frankie has received a F4 vaccination at the shelter on 3/8/2022.
Frankie is desexed however as he was desexed previously we don't have a desexing certificate for him however have a letter from the vets to confirm that he is desexed based on their examination.
Little Frankie was adopted on 25 September 2022 after 4 weeks in foster care

Candy is a lovely, mature, lady who found herself in the pound. She is now safe in foster care and is ready for her forever home.
Candy is a quiet girl who loves a pat and greets you with a headbutt until you give her a cuddle and some affection. She is past the super playful kitten stage so will make a wonderful, calm companion cat. For this reason she would be an ideal apartment cat.
Candy would prefer a home as an only cat as she seems to be scared of other cats (she hisses at them then runs away) and she would prefer a home without very young children who might play too rough with her.
To find out if Candy could be suitable as your new forever companion please get in contact.
Candy was adopted on 24 September 2022 after 2 months in foster care

Oscar was living on the street with his mama until he came into DCH care. He is a beautiful, chunky tabby with a sweet nature. He is a little skittish and jumps at loud noises. However, he has never displayed aggressive behaviour like hissing, scratching or biting. He has always been fine at being picked up and carried. Once he gets to know you and becomes familiar with the sights, sounds and smells of the household, he is adventurous, playful and affectionate.
Oscar LOVES rubs behind his ears and on his face, chest and belly. His fur is as soft as a duckling's feathers (truly). He enjoys climbing cat trees and can't help himself when he sees a ball or feathered cat toy - he must have it. I have also never seen a kitten stand up like a meerkat like he does (see image).
Oscar prefers dry kitten food (but he will eat anything you put in his cat bowl when hungry). He knows not to over-eat in order to maintain his svelte figure. He enjoys drinking water for ages and is litter-trained. Oscar is microchipped, desexed and has received his first vaccination.
If you are looking for a sweet and playful kitten who just needs someone to be patient with him while he acclimates to his second chance at a wonderful life, Oscar would love to meet you.

Biscuit is a shy cat when you first meet him but once he begins to trust you he is the most affectionate and sweet pet. He always want to be pet around his face and loves a chin/ear scratch and he will let you know by rubbing his head on your hand. If you are seeking a cat that is cuddly and wants to be by your side all the time, then Biscuit is the right cat for you. He loves to nap all day and also enjoys playtime, chasing around toys and watching birds. Biscuit will chatter and chirp every time he sees birds flying around in the window and it is great mental stimulation for him. He is also very friendly around other cats and will most likely thrive in a home with other felines present.
Biscuit was adopted on 22 September 2022 after 7 months in foster care

Ivan and his brother, Icarus, are bonded 1yr old brothers who need to be rehomed together.
Now located in PETstock Macquarie (434-435 Waterloo Rd, North Ryde NSW 2113), you can meet these lovable brothers during store hours.
Initially adopted from DCH in December 2021, these gorgeous boys have unfortunately had to be surrendered back to DCH, so they can be rehomed.
Ivan is initially a rather shy boy, who will hide away and watch his brother meet the strangers! However, even if you pick him up from his hiding spot, he will give in and allow you to fuss over him! With a little time, and some food (which he loves!), you will win him over and he will accept you.
Both brothers are extremely gentle cats, who can be picked up, given tummy rubs, and will even allow their feet to be handled without a growl, scratch or hiss!
Ivan and Icarus will be best suited to a quieter household with 1-2 people, so Ivan can gain a little more confidence. With a bit of time to become accustomed to their new home, these brothers will easily become a part of your family and wonderful companions.
The adoption fee includes:
So they live their best and longest lives, Ivan and Icarus must also be kept as INDOOR ONLY cats.
Please fill out an Expression of Interest IN-STORE if you would like to adopt Ivan & Icarus.
If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.
You must be over 18 years old to adopt an animal, and, for a cat/kitten, also be prepared to look after it for up to 20years! 😻
