Charlie Boy

Charlie Boy

Border Collie x Staffy - male

Charlie is a happy and easy going young man, he gets on well with his foster sister Ellie spending most of their alternating between day playing tag, chasing each other round the yard and napping. Charlie has already proven he'll be an intelligent and inquisitive dog - he loves a game of fetch, he walks well on a lead, will sit and shake hands and is house trained. Charlie will grow to be a medium sized dog and will require plenty exercise and stimulating toys / activities to keep that inquisitive mind out of mischief! Charlie loves being a part of the family and would love a new home with kids to play with or a four legged best friend.

Charlie Boy was adopted on 18 August 2007 after 3 weeks in foster care

Charlie

Charlie

DSH - male

He is a playful cat who enjoys playing with other cats, but will play with toys and balls or a string on the washing line if he can't interest anyone else in a game. He is a smoochy cat when he gets to know you, but is a bit timid on first meeting. He does enjoy a snuggle and human company and is very tolerant of children

once they've managed to catch him. He is a good family cat, and will let you know when he wants to come in and go out.

Jane

Jane

DMH - female

Soft natured, little girl. Who is very pretty and very playful with her siblings. She is proving herself to be very affectionate and loves cuddles. She will make a great lapcat for someone although she'd prefer a quieter home with no small children. Jane is much prettier than her photos.

Maggie

Maggie

DSH - female

Maggie was very shy when she first came into care, surrendered by an elderly lady who'd been feeding Maggie and her sister since they were kittens. She has now come out of her shell a lot and although she is a little shy when she first meets new people she very quickly comes around and shows her true personality

that of a friendly, loving girl who has a ready purr and loves a pat.

Maggie was adopted on 13 August 2007 after 7 months in foster care

Shae

Shae

female

Shae is a gorgeous 16 week old kitten with the most beautiful and affectionate personality. She has black and white fur with the most adorable little white face and a pink nose. Due to her pink nose she will have to be an inside cat only to protect Shae's little nose from the sun. Shae loves nothing more then to lay on your lap and soak up any cuddles and kisses she can get. Shae also has a playful side and loves to play with balls and toys and is very entertaining to watch. Shae is a pleasure to have around and would make a loving and loyal companion for life. Shae is being cared for in the Shellharbour area.

Shae was adopted on 12 August 2007 after 5 days in foster care

Ace

Ace

German Shephard x - male

Ace is staying at our home with two other large dogs and a cat without any problems. He loves a good cuddle and enjoys the company of the other dogs and the humans too. He is a very good boy while there is washing hanging on the line and does not attempt to pull it off at all. He is learning the game of fetch (although we end fetching most of the time). Being only just over 12 months he still has the playful puppy investigation stage. However he listens to everybody very well and is very obedient. Ace is very well behaved in side never causing any problems and is house trained. Ace is very good with food

not aggressive at all. He is learning to sit and shake paws and gets quite excited when going for a walk, not taking long to settle into walking well on the lead. Ace is a well adjusted, very placid and loving dog. He is being cared for in the Shellharbour area.

Ace was adopted on 12 August 2007 after 4 weeks in foster care

A great dog. Molly gets on well with other dogs, she is fine with cats. She is very calm in the house, she just loves following you around and just loves being with you. I think she would be a very faithful dog to her new owners. She will sit when told. And just loves to please you.

Prickles

Prickles

DSH - female

Special Needs Kitten

Prickles is an outgoing, spunky little girl with real personality and after a hard start to life she is finally looking forward to going to her forever home. Prickles was dumped as a 3-4 week old kitten at the pound, where she unfortunately contracted a chronic case of cat flu. At such a young age it was a tough fight for Prickles and the flu claimed the life of her sibling. She needed to be hand fed for almost 4 weeks but she is a real little fighter and now, although small for her age, she is finally looking fit and healthy, she is still a bit sniffly but she is getting better each day. You'd not know she had been so ill when you watched her do laps of the house and pounce and play with every toy she sees. She is extremely affectionate and loves cuddles and loves sitting on our shoulders and under our chins being very smoochy.

Prickles needs an understanding home that is aware that cat flu can re-occur, particularly during times of stress such as moving to a new home. She needs a home that is willing to love and care for her should this re-occur.

Prickles was adopted on 09 August 2007 after 1 week in foster care
