George

George

Domestic Short Hair - male

George and his family were found as small kittens, alone and in need of medical attention. They luckily were found by a very caring individual who has sought out help for them but has also agreed to foster them until they find new homes.

George is one of 3 ginger kittens named after the Weasleys in Harry Potter - Freddie (Fred), George, and Ginny.

The kittens are being raised as indoor cats while in foster care. George is very adventurous, boisterous, and cheeky. George loves his cuddles and playtime. He is also a massive foodie and will never turn a meal down!

They have received their 2nd F3 vaccination.
They will be required 1 further vaccinations to be fully vaccinated. George has also been wormed, flea treated and desexed.

George is available now :)

Located in Wollstonecraft, NSW.

George was adopted on 23 February 2022 after 1 month in foster care

Kyote

Kyote

DSH - male

Kyote and his 3 siblings, Kimba, Kofu & Kirri, came into DCH care on 23 November 2021 from Campbelltown Pound.

Kyote is a typical ginger ninja, very curious and playful although still initially shy of new people. As Kyote is only young, he will adapt well into most homes, as long as he is given time to adjust and get to know his new family.

Kyote and his siblings are all litter-trained and are currently being socialised in my home. These kittens are currently eating Royal Canin Kitten food, both wet and dry, with lots of clean water always available.

The $225 adoption fee includes:

  • Microchipping,
  • Worming/flea-treatment,
  • Vaccination,
  • Desexing
  • So he lives his best and longest life, Kyote must also be an INDOOR ONLY cat.

Please use the "Send enquiry email" link below, if you have any questions or if you are interested in adopting Kyote. PLEASE INCLUDE INFORMATION such as whether you own other pets, if you have a quieter or more chaotic household and any other relevant details.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18 years old to adopt an animal, and, for a kitten, also be prepared to look after it for up to 20years! 😻

Kyote was adopted on 20 February 2022 after 2 months in foster care

    Bardot

    Bardot

    Domestic Medium Hair - female

Bardot is one of 5 kittens that came into care:
Baldo, Balin, Banka, Bardot and Button. Lovingly raised indoors by their mum, Bliss.

Bardot is ready for her forever home! She is very playful, inquisitive and friendly.

As Bardot has been raised indoors with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cat and large dog, we are looking for an INDOOR only home, that will be able to keep her safe (as well as the local wildlife safe!).
If you would like to be her forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access via a cat run) we would love to hear from you!

Bardot has been desexed, had her first kitten vaccination and is litter trained and will be up to date with her flea and worming. She knows how to use a scratching post and loves playing with her sisters and brothers, and is used to the large family dog at home.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

Bardot was adopted on 17 February 2022 after 1 month in foster care

    Banka

    Banka

    Domestic Medium Hair - female

Banka is one of 5 kittens that came into care:
Baldo, Balin, Banka, Bardot and Button. Lovingly raised indoors by their mum, Bliss.
They are all adorable and have medium length fur - maybe there's some Maine Coon breed heritage in there!

Banka is a confident and sassy, friendly girl. She is very playful, and loves wrestling with her brothers and sisters.

As Banka has been raised indoors with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cat and large dog, we are looking for an INDOOR only home, that will be able to keep her safe (as well as the local wildlife safe!).
If you would like to be her forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access via a cat run) we would love to hear from you!

    Bliss

    Bliss

    Domestic Medium Hair - female

Bliss by name, and bliss by nature. What a delight this young lady has been!

Not only did she raise her litter of 5 kittens, but she took on an orphan kitten to bring her litter to 6. And then when they were almost weaned, took on another litter of 5 grey kittens. Absolute super-star mum!!

Very friendly girl who enjoys being near you, getting pats and cuddles, doesn't mind being picked up and snuggles up to you on the bed. She is very mellow and relaxed. Sometimes meowing at you for attention.

Bliss came into care very, very thin, and while she isn't a big eater, she is now at a healthy weight and enjoys a mix of wet and dry food.

As she has medium length fur she will need to be regularly brushed. She isn't a huge fan, but a few brushes once or twice a week should be enough to keep the matts out of her tail and fur. As she is an indoor only cat, this routine is manageable.

Bliss is a very easy-going cat. While she has been fiercely protective of all of her kittens from the household dog with lots of hisses and swipes, she has never scratched or hurt anyone, and will happily snooze and cohabitate near the dog and watch the kittens play with her.
For this reason I would say she would suit a home with existing pets. She will likely take up the prime sleeping position on the bed though!

Bliss has weaned all of her kittens and has now been desexed. Enjoying days spent snoozing by the window-sill and coming up for chin scratches and pats.

She has been a delight to foster and I am thankful for her efforts in helping raise 11 kittens. She deserves a wonderful forever home with a family that will keep her safely indoors, and give her all the love and affection she deserves.

If you would like to apply to adopt her, please email us! She is based in Windsor, NSW and is ready to meet you.

Bliss was adopted on 17 February 2022 after 1 month in foster care

    Blake

    Blake

    Domestic short hair - male

Blake is an affectionate blond ginger kitten with an inquisitive mind and a gentle heart. He is a little shy at first but once he gets to know you he will come in for cuddles. Blake loves climbing cat-scratching towers, playing with kitten toys and other kittens/cats, and savouring his food. He has never scratched our furniture nor dined on my shoes. Blake is micro-chipped, vaccinated, desexed and ready to embrace his forever home.

If you are looking to adopt a sweet, gentle, fun-loving kitten who will patiently sit and listen as you verbally offload the events of the day in exchange for cuddles and caresses - Blake would love to meet you.

Blake was adopted on 16 February 2022 after 2 months in foster care

    Kimba

    Kimba

    DSH - male

Kimba and his 3 siblings, Kyote, Kofu & Kirri, came into DCH care on 23 November 2021 from Campbelltown Pound.

Kimba is a cute little guy who is still very shy with strangers but he does enjoy a back scratch and a cuddle, once he knows you. Kimba would suit a quieter home without young children, where he is given time to gain confidence.

Kimba and his siblings are all litter-trained and are currently being socialised in my home. These kittens are currently eating Royal Canin Kitten food, both wet and dry, with lots of clean water always available.

    The $225 adoption fee includes:

  • Microchipping,
  • Worming/flea-treatment,
  • Vaccination
  • Desexing
  • So he lives his best and longest life, Kimba must also be an INDOOR ONLY cat.

She is a very sweet-natured, relaxed dog who loves to laze around the house with her favourite stuffed toy, but also loves going for walks and smelling all the smells she can! She is very good with other dogs as well as with children and would be suitable to a home with either. She is easy to train and walks well on the lead

    QTPie

    QTPie

    DSH - female

QTPie came into foster care at the tender age of 2.5 weeks, with her siblings Humphrey, Truffles and Tabbygail and was bottle fed the first few weeks in care.

QTPie is a very sweet kitten and loves snuggling with her foster mum of an evening, and during the day she can be found playing with her siblings.

QTPie has been raised with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and she happily co-habits with them all. While QTPie has access outside via a cat run in her foster home, she is looking for forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access).

QTPie has been desexed, had her first kitten vaccination and is litter trained and will be up to date with her parasite protection - QTPie is ready for adoption now.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

QTPie was adopted on 10 February 2022 after 3 months in foster care

    Peta

    Peta

    Domestic - female

Peter is a playful kitten who loves a good snuggle once tuckered out.

He certainly isn't shy, immediately exploring his new home here with a loud, constant purr and occasional leg rub. He enjoys chasing and batting whatever he can find lying around the house. He's a quiet boy, but loves his food, and will definitely let you know when he's hungry with the sweetest little meow. He currently eats both wet and dry food. Peter also uses the litter tray correctly.

Peter currently lives with an extra large dog (Giant breed) who he cuddles up to, and two very young children. He's unfazed by crawling babies, loud 3 year olds and dog barking.

Peter will be available for adoption once he is big enough to be desexed. His unfortunate bout of cat flu means he still needs to gain some weight before desexing. He is now over the cat flu.

Available for adoption from after the 17th January once desexed.

Peta was adopted on 09 February 2022 after 1 month in foster care
