Sissy is the easiest cat to live with & she ticks all the boxes. She is fine if on her own, greets me each evening like a long lost friend, she is playful, affectionate, gets on well with my 2 older cats & all of the foster kittens that end up in my home. She just takes everything as it comes & she is a very easy going cat.
I love her eyes as they have a very soft look about them as if she has just woken up. She is a dark tabby with no white on her & I love her black paws.
Sissy is now a very healthy energetic cat
Sissy lives with me at Banksia & she would love to meet you if you are looking for the best cat to join your family.
Thanks to Winnie,Tonya and Jaimin for their generous donations towards Sissy's vet care. Her extra expenses have now been fully sponsored

Alkira is an extremely gentle young torti cat, she just wouldn't hurt a fly and she is super pretty. She can be a little timid when she first meets people but warms up quickly.
Alkira is well socialised with other cats and dogs and has no behavioural problems.
Alkira would best suit a home with another feline friend or to go to a home with her best friend Grace who is also available as they have been together since they were young.

Calvin, Calvin, Calvin what can i say about little Calvin well i should say he isn't so little anymore as he is quite a big boy for his age.Calvin has this massive chest and he walks around like a bulldog.Strutting his stuff in all his glory.Even though he a large tuff looking boy, he is quite the gentle sweetie and one very sociable friendly boy who loves being around people. He loves to cuddle on the lounge and just hang around the house with you, a pretty layed back guy who seems to be able to tolerate anything like the pet magpie Banjo pulling at his ear for ages. For some strange reason Calvin seems to cop it the most from Banjo.I think Calvin is Banjo's favorite as i will find the two often cuddled up together. Calvin also lives in a household of many dogs and other cats, and he gets along really well with all of them. You will always find him sleeping next to one of the dogs especially the dingo Kiona.I have a niece 7 and a nephew 4 who gives Calvin plenty of children time and he loves the many cuddles and pats from the kids, he will let the kids carry him around like a dolly, and when put down Calvin will always go back for more. Calvin was dumped at a school with his mum and 6 brothers and sisters but now their are only 4 left Calvin his brothers Merlin, Tango and his sister Dee Dee. So if you are looking for a live cartoon character Calvin's your man.
He is used to cats, dogs and birds as he plays with the pet magpie.

Tango is just an all round gorgeous little boy,a real chilled cat. Nothing seems to bother Tango, even when the pet Magpie Banjo pulls his ear, Tango will take it in his stride. But after about half an hour of ear pulling and many pecks from a long sharp beak Tango will retaliate and grab Banjo in a head lock, This in turn will just make Banjo angrier and so it happens all over again.Tango comes from quite a large litter and still lives with his 2 brothers and the 1 sister, they all love to cuddle up together especially on cold nights. but Tango still doesn't mind some alone time now and then. Occasionally my little 7 year old niece and 4 year old nephew will come and visit. These days Tango and his siblings receive many cuddles and kisses and lap up every bit of it. Following the kids around like dogs hoping for another cuddles or pat. Also living here are 4 dogs and 1 dingo, you will see Tango constantly rubbing himself on one of the dogs legs with no fear at all.The dogs look after him as if he was one of there pack. So if you would like a very gentle, squishy, children, bird and dog friendly cat.Tango is your man.

If you want an interactive, fun, playful and affectionate young cat that still acts like a kitten, then Sherman is your man. He is into everything - people, other cats, he is even curious about our large dogs.
He would suit most situations including primary school aged children and older, he is quite happy to be carried around like a baby and just relaxes in your arms and purrs contentedly. A bit of a lap cat, he is usually up for a cuddle or three. He is a small cat with a short but very soft and plush coat that is very easy care.
He is obsessed with scrunched up paper and will come running the moment he hears you with it. He could very easily be trained to fetch as he already brings the paper back for you to throw again so he can jump and catch it.
He needs to go to a home that will be understanding about his initial fear of meeting new people - he is quite the scaredy cat at first and will bolt at the first sign of a stranger. He would be best in a home where someone is at home a lot - or at the least with a friendly feline friend for companionship. Available to adopt separately or with his mum Cherry who is also listed with DCH.
Sherman is available to a loving, indoor only home. He is located at Mount Annan.

Amy is a beautiful Tortoiseshell kitten currently approx. 7 weeks old. She was rescued from Blacktown pound.
Amy is a medium hair kitten.
She has only been in foster care for a week however she is adapting to her new surroundings very well.
She is a very playful kitten and appears to be in great health. She is being socialised with 2 kids who love playing with her. Amy is slowly coming out of her shell and will cry out for attention and loves our company at the moment. She is still getting used to being around us but over the last few days has started to purr very well and loves the attention. She is still a little shy around us at times however that should change over the coming weeks as she finishes adjusting.
She is eating well and using the kitty litter.
She is going to be a great addition to a family that can love her and provide her lots of attention.
Please review the video to see some short snippets of her playing with a toy.
Amy will be available for adoption in late September to early October after she is over 1kg in weight. She will be approx. 9-11 weeks old at the time of adoption. If you’re interested in adopting Amy you will need to be patient until she is ready to be adopted however inquiries are welcome now.

Dee Dee the only girl with 3 brothers Calvin, Merlin and Tango definitely the most delicate and littlest out of the 4 you can really tell she is the girl.If Dee Dee could wear makeup and high heels i think she would. I often sit there imagining Dee Dee in front of a mirror putting her lippy on and combing her beautiful soft fur. Like her brothers Dee Dee is a real gentle girl, loves the company of everyone this includes children, dogs as she lives in a household of 5 of them and one very cheeky naughty Magpie who loves to pull ears and tails. Dee Dee loves to cuddle up on your lap and will lovingly look up at you with lovey looks. So if you are looking for a gentle little girl who is children, dog and bird friendly also house trained Dee Dee is your girly girl.

Smidge is a wonderful little girl who was born on the 2nd October, 2013 and is ready to go to her new home now. She loves to explore, gets on well with other cats and is a delight to have around. She is easy going, cheeky and very playful.
Smidge is often zooming around the house, entertaining herself. But she also likes to cuddle with her people at the end of the day. She is very good with her carer's 2 dogs. She likes to cuddle with them, wash their ears and faces and also wrestles with them sometimes.
Smidge is probably not suitable as an only pet unless her human is home a lot. She does get lonely if left alone for long periods of time. So far she has been an indoor only cat, but likes to sit and watch the going-ons outside through the window or screen door.
She would love to go to her very own forever “indoor only” home, she is already litter trained.
